Coast Guard officers. If you are looking for a job where you can make a

Trained by the best and equipped with the latest that
technology has to offer, Frontex Border and Coast Guards officers are ready for
tomorrow’s challenges at the borders, helping to ensure their proper
functioning. The Agency will be recruiting officers at four levels:
officers, section leaders, deputy commanders and commanders
The recruitment is addressed to candidates with and
without former experience in law enforcement domain, who meet the basic
criteria such as age, physical fitness and good knowledge of English.
Each of the selected candidates will receive basic
training to be ready for deployment in operational areas. It will ensure that
the officers have the necessary skills to work together, fully complying with
the applicable EU law and ethical standards.
Following the training, the newly
recruited officers are expected to take their posts in the second quarter of
2025. After the basic training, EU border and coast guard officers undergo various types of specialised
training throughout their career, for example in detecting fraudulent
documents, assisting in return operations, helping to spot stolen cars, or
collecting data on criminal networks.
Throughout their career, Frontex officers have the
possibility to acquire new profiles in line with their experience, but also to
perform new tasks giving them an opportunity to have full experience of
integrated border management.

technology, Frontex Border and Coast Guards officers are ready for challenges
at the borders, maintaining the smooth functioning of Europe's Schengen
Area.
By 2027, the European Border and Coast Guard standing
corps will comprise 10 000 people. Among them, 3 000 officers will belong to
category 1, as Frontex staff. The other 7000 officers will be provided by EU
Member States.
