Frontex has just launched a new call for proposals for the agency’s Joint Reintegration Services. This call is aimed at current Frontex reintegration partners with the objective to maintain the geographical coverage of the reintegration services and enable an expansion to up to 50 countries worldwide.
Frontex Joint Reintegration Services, operational since April 2022, have become increasingly integral in Europe’s return sector. By the end of 2023, these services have processed over 5300 cases, affecting approximately 6500 individuals. This total includes submissions from 25 EU Member States and Schengen-Associated Countries, relating to returns to 37 countries of origin worldwide.
Following the EU Return Coordinator’s policy recommendations, and addressing the needs expressed by Member States, the agency plans to further develop, strengthen, and broaden the geographical scope of the Joint Reintegration Services.
Frontex reintegration partners include: Caritas International Belgium, IRARA, ETTC, WELDO, Life Makers Foundation, and MICADO Migration gGmbH.
For more information about the admissibility requirements, the eligibility criteria and the selection criteria, please see the Calls for Proposals.
The deadline for proposal submissions is 7 February 2024, 23:59 CET. The new grants are scheduled to commence on April 1, 2024.
