FOCUS AREA: risk/vulnerability analysis methodology
The project will develop a novel risk analysis and vulnerability methodology building upon existing methodologies such as CIRAM and introducing novel more complex and effective indicators which overcome important limitations of existing models.
The methodology will be backed by advanced analysis technologies and tools which will be developed and evaluated to suite the new comprehensive threat indicators.
Ethical, legal, and societal aspects will be considered from the very beginning when developing the holistic CRiTERIA risk and vulnerability analysis framework.
The methodology will be developed in close collaboration with practitioners from border agencies, who will also validate the developed methods and technologies in piloting activities.
