Would you like to showcase your novel solutions and technologies which could be used to train national and Frontex staff to improve their biometric comparison skills? Can your innovative solution support the European Border and Coast Guard community to assess biometric data in a highly advanced manner?
Frontex Online Industry Days are a great opportunity to engage with the European Border and Coast Guard Community. Join us on Webex, on 23 January 2025.
Industry Days are the channel for technology providers to present how their innovative solutions can address the challenges faced by the European Border and Coast Guard community and ensure security at the external EU borders.
We are looking for digital training solutions for fingerprint comparison, allowing national and Frontex experts to train their fingerprint comparison skills by:
- Providing comparison exercises based on real and/or realistic images of fingerprints.
- Providing comparison exercises of varying difficulty, e.g.:
- Mated and unmated samples with varying degrees of similarity, leading to different levels of difficulty to correctly assess the pairs.
- Different levels of image quality.
- Functionalities for tailoring fingerprints comparison exercises according to the trainees’ needs to improve their skills.
- Functionalities for trainees’ progress tracking and for feedback from trainers.
This list should not be considered exhaustive, and other technological solutions will be taken into consideration if they are relevant for biometric identification.
What’s in it for you?
- Share your latest technological developments and state-of-the-art solutions by delivering a short presentation.
- Register your innovative solutions on an interactive digital exhibition platform.
- Connect with the European Border and Coast Guard community composed of Frontex experts and Member States’ border and coast guard authorities.
How to participate?
If you are interested in attending the General Industry Days, please express your interest by 19 December 2024 by filling in an online registration form with a description of the solution you wish to present.
