Are you an
economic operator offering fully furnished, serviced or/and shared offices
ready to be used for renting? On 2 and 3 July 2024, Frontex is organising Industry Days
on Office Spaces with Facilities’ Services to rent in European Union (EU)
countries.
Frontex, the European Border and
Coast Guard Agency, plays an important role in managing the security of the
external borders of the EU. The Agency’s activities take place in different
geographical regions across the EU and in its neighbouring countries. The
European Border and Coast Guard standing corps are deployed at the borders of
EU Member States and currently support operations in countries such as Italy,
Greece, Spain, and Bulgaria.
Frontex is looking for additional
offices located in Southern Spain (Almeria, Motril, Cartagena, Alicante) and
Italy (Catania, Pozzallo, Lampedusa, Cagliari), in the North-East of Greece, and
in the Canary Islands (Lanzarote, Las Palmas de Gran Canarias, and Puerto del
Rosario on Fuerteventura).
The following list of services is
not exhaustive and can be complemented with additional needs and services. Service
providers interested in taking part in Industry Days do not have to fulfil all
the below requirements. The Agency
is interested in serviced/shared or co-working offices including the
following features:
- Estimated
number of working stations for location:
- Type A: up to 6 people;
- Type B: up to 18
people;
- Type C: up to 50
people.
Most of the office spaces needed will be type A (up
to 6 people).
- Fully
Equipped: working spaces with
furniture, high-speed Wi-Fi, and other amenities like kitchenette, lounges,
showers, and cozy corners.
- With
Customisable Options: to adapt
the spaces to the security and safety / health aspects to take into
consideration, in line with the national legislations.
- Meeting
Rooms: provision of / or access
on demand to meeting rooms and conference facilities including internet
connection, video-conference system, interactive white-board solutions, and
concierge services with possibility to be used as training room.
- Air-Conditioning
and heating system with
maintenance included.
- Parking
spaces: dedicated
parking spot available for at least 20% of the number of workplaces.
- Location: Close to ports, airports, and land
border crossing points (or very well connected by public transportation).
- Flexible Seating: with various seating options, including hot
desks, dedicated desks, and private offices.
- Timeline: availability from January 2025
