The second exercise of the Pilot Project Northern Lights 2008 took place between 9 and 13 February 2009 in Warsaw, Poland. The main objective of the exercise was to exchange experience and best practices between border guards’ special task forces in urban environment.
25 participants from Estonia, Finland, Greece, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania and Slovakia took part in the exercise with Poland being a host country. During the exercise emphasize was put on special team movement, high risk tracing and high risk arrests in built areas.
