In collaboration with the Finnish Border and Coast Guard Academy, Frontex is organizing a research conference on the Future of Risk Analysis and its use in enhancing border security.  The event will be held on 11-12 October 2011 at the Finnish Border and Coast Guard Academy in Espoo, Finland

The conference will bring together risk analysis experts from a number of different realms (border guards, academia, industry, defence, customs) to discuss future risk, methodologies for estimating it and the use of those estimates to enhance border security.  Some limited places are available for expert participants who might wish to attend the conference at their own expense.  If you do wish to be considered, please send your details to timothy.cooper@frontex.europa.eu. Qualified applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
