Frontex has established a new Contingent in Prague to strengthen border coordination across Europe. As part of the European Border and Coast Guard Standing Corps, the Contingent will act as a regional hub, bringing together officers, leadership and operational activities from across ten countries: Czechia, Germany, France, Belgium, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, and Ireland. By placing decision-making closer to the field, the Prague office will enable a faster response, stronger cooperation with national services, and more effective support for operations.
