The CROSSMARE project aims to enhance border and maritime surveillance by integrating space, air, surface, and underwater domains.

The project will use advanced technologies such as High-Altitude Platform Stations, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, high-resolution SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite imagery, Autonomous Underwater & Unmanned Surface Vehicles, and flash LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors.

It will apply AI algorithms and improve command and control systems for efficient mission management of manned and unmanned platforms.

The project will demonstrate interoperable data exchange with the Common Information Sharing Environment and conduct validation activities, a tabletop exercise, and a full-scale demonstration.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101225981
