The COLOSSUS project aims to improve digital security, resilience, and maintenance of port infrastructures, aligning with the updated EU Maritime Security Strategy (EUMSS 2023). It will develop solutions and test them through laboratory stress tests and real-world scenarios.

A key component is the integrated perimeter surveillance system. This use case will test autonomous Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) to establish a continuous perimeter defense across air, land, and water. These autonomous systems will patrol designated areas, providing live visual and sensor-based surveillance to detect and assess potential threats.

This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101225980
