Frontex invites
innovators to register to showcase their solution(s) at the Digital Twin
Frontiers event, taking place on 17 September 2026 in Warsaw.
This event
brings together senior representatives of EU institutions, Member State border
authorities, industry leaders, investors, and academics around a single
ambition: accelerating the development of Copernicus-powered digital twin
capabilities for European border security.
Up to 15
companies will be selected to demonstrate their solutions and give a pitch of
up to 5 minutes.

We are
particularly interested in technologies and solutions that contribute to the
development of advanced sensing, data, simulation, and operational integration
capabilities for border management. We welcome proposals in the following
areas:

Digital twin environments combining real-world data
with live simulation
•
Earth Observation and remote-sensing applications,
including Copernicus downstream services, SAR, optical, hyperspectral data
processing, RF detection and geospatial intelligence
•
Novel sensing platforms and integrated systems (UAV,
robots, ground sensors)
•
Real-time data ingestion pipelines, continuous
monitoring, and automated change detection
•
AI-driven analytics, forecasting, pattern recognition,
and resource optimisation
•
Simulation, gaming, and scenario-modelling tools for
mission rehearsal and crisis planning
•
High-performance and emerging computing technologies
supporting large-scale modelling
•
Decision-support interfaces, dashboards, and operator
tools tailored to border-management needs
•
Secure data-governance frameworks and sovereign cloud
architectures

will ask you to indicate which zone best reflects your solution, provide a
brief technical overview, and outline its relevance to Copernicus-powered
digital twin capabilities for border security.

Deadline for
submission: 27 July 2026 | Submissions received after the deadline will
not be considered.

Evaluation: Frontex will review all submissions
based on innovation, operational relevance, technological maturity, and fit
with the event’s subject.

Notification: Selected companies will be
notified and assigned a spotlight slot.
•
Capacity: Up to 15 companies will be selected;
places are limited and awarded on the basis of quality and fit.
