Following the 2024 reorganisation of Frontex, I have taken on an enhanced leadership role as Team Leader, supporting the Agency’s strategic transition to an intelligence-driven organisation with priority-based decision-making at its core. In this capacity, I am involved in initiatives that aim to increase the efficiency of intelligence actors – ensuring that the operational decisions of the Agency are timely, data-informed, and responsive to emerging security challenges.
This vision is grounded in my professional evolution – from hands-on operational work to a strategic planning role where I helped coordinate and align long-term goals with reality. Today, I use this experience to help bridge the gap between policy, planning, and operational implementation at the Fusion Unit of the European Integrated Border Management (EIBM) Intelligence Division. I support the implementation of EIBM policy by fostering coordination, promoting information sharing, and driving forward initiatives that strengthen the Agency’s intelligence-led capabilities.
We are entering a new dynamic, intelligent era of technological development where mass data and digitalisation are reshaping how we approach border management. I strongly believe that the intelligence competence should be at the heart of EIBM and am committed to supporting the development of new functions and innovative tools that would allow us to adapt to dynamic threats and vulnerabilities with speed, precision, and foresight.
What I particularly enjoy about my job is the opportunity to link my passion for data, innovation, and contributing to European security.
