Belgium, Poland, Spain, Sicily, Greece, Romania, France,…– this is how one of our officer’s European career path started. After 24 years of service in the Belgian Police, Kevin became a member of the European Border and Coast Guard Standing Corps in 2020.
After been working the last 3 years as CBCDO/MVCDO and Group leader in Romania, as well as numerous missions as CBCDO trainer, a new adventure is waiting as Group leader in the newly established European Quick Reaction Force as from September 2026.
“Every day, I am so thankful that Frontex gave me the opportunity to work with great colleagues from all over Europe,” he says.
Many have become his friends in the meantime, but all the international colleagues that he has met at different border crossing points have influenced him “for the best and forever."
