I am blessed to work among motivated persons from all around Europe.
Having spent the greater part of my professional life abroad in various cities in Europe and the United States, initially I hesitated slightly when my career path directed me to Warsaw.
Maybe a fear of the unknown, maybe stereotypes made me feel anxious.
Contrary to my reservations, Warsaw proved to be a wonderful city, the most dynamically developing capital in Europe, extremely clean and safe, with amazing public transport and plenty of choices for all tastes. It’s a modern city full of skyscrapers and life and at the same time full of history, traditions, and charming neighbourhoods.
As for the job itself, coming from public administration and private legal practice, I am amazed how Frontex manages to combine both of these worlds under one umbrella. Frontex provides the structured environment of well-established national authorities and the dynamic and challenging feeling of a private practice. The work teams here are multicultural and multinational, with a variety of inspiring goals and motivating tasks.
I am blessed to work among motivated persons from all around Europe, who are dedicated to common European values, striving for the benefit of the freedom and security of everyone in Europe.
